2013- what a fabulous year! I didn't release how good 2013 was until I look backed! Every New Year’s eve I look back at all the photos and memories that I have made in the year( sad I know). I'm a sucker for believing life's what you make it and that you should be grateful for everything you have, therefore I like to look back at the year and think of all the fab times I've had. I thought why not share it with all of you lovelies?

EIGHTEEN

I cannot stress how excited I was to be turning 18. I'm not a big drinker but I just longed for the freedom that came with being 18. My parents love to celebrate anything so they were keen for me to have a party. They even said a house party!( bless them, I don't think they realize how extreme they can be) especially when they just had new cream carpets fitted in. Due to this we hired out a function room, and I excited all of my friends with the theme of a masquerade ball. Looking back I don't know why I titled it as a masquerade ball, I have always liked the theme since being little and it seemed a nice enough title to let people dress all fancy. I'll always remember everyone walking through the doors all smiling and then when try looked around and took their mask off in confusion as they were the only ones... I didn't even bother bringing a mask! After all this confusion, I had a fab time and everyone kept messaging me saying how needed it was after January exams! I hope that they were all genuine messages! I had a fab time even when I was forced to make a speech ( oh, the embarrassment)

 Schools out for summer

This year was the end of working nonstop for two years! Yes!!! I do not wish to ever go back to the work load of A-levels. I'm a hard worker and I can deal with the amount of work but studying German were not my strong points and sometimes all that revision wasn't worth it-at all. Anyway apart from the A levels work load, I actually loved sixth form. Seeing my friends every day , constantly being in the art room, meeting new people, new opportunities and the lovely teachers, not to mention the kitchen in the common room-pot noodles don’t mind if I do! Sixth from was just full of laughs and I was so happy being there even if the work load stressed me out. Seeing my loves Kate, Deanna and Becca was so good not to mention the endless gossip we could talk about all day.

 PROM

Following on from the joy of finishing our A levels came the summer ball. There is a big difference in prom and summer ball. Everyone looks gorgeous at both events but summer ball is so much more grown up. You can talk to the teachers personally, have a drink and not care about others looking at you! For the summer ball I didn't really put too much effort into how I looked, I was just excited to have a big dance with the girls before we all went our separate ways. For those that is indecisive about going to prom. You have to go you'll regret it so badly!

 Race for life.

For some people this may not be seen as a big event, but to me is really was. I have been looking forward for the last 4 years to do this but unfortunately due I exams I could never make a date.(YAWN) But 2013 was different. A few of my lovelies decided they wanted to join in and although we were running in territorial rain it was SO much fun. I would recommended any lovely lady to do race off life as it's so much fun and seeing everyone run in front of you with names on their back is heartbreaking but at the same time you know that your running, sweating and tiredness is all worth it!

MAJORCA!!! I have been on many holidays before but Majorca was definitely one of the best holiday’s ever! Grace,Kate ,becca and I( yes two Beccas, sorry it's confusing). Decided that before we part we would all go on holiday! Since being a bit geeky we didn't party 24/7 but instead I did so many wonderful things! From water parks, to visiting a rancho, and then going to a theatre as you eat a 3 course dinner ( Bucket list list-check) was AMAZING. Not to mention the bars and clubs and the gorgeous beaches oh and paragliding.- note to self-bend your knees as your about to land otherwise it will severely hurt. I cannot stress how everyone should deserve a girls/ boys holding after their A levels it makes everything worth it. Plus eating super noodles and pasta every night was also a bonus- slightly addicted!

IBIZA

A week later with as part of a family holding. I know what you are thinking, Ibiza and the word Family do not mix. But  I wasn't bothered that I couldn't party, I could still have a fab time in ibiza with my family- and camera. I took so many photos in Ibiza including doing an underwater photo-shoot. I loved every second of it and the all-inclusive hotel was just define!

Book of Mormon

I am a sucker for musicals! I am completely obsessed with London so whenever I go I try to see a musical. After a lot of close friends left for university I felt down so I decide to go to London that weekend. I went with my friend Callum as if it wasn't for him in the first place I never would have been introduced to the best parts of London and the joys of west end theatres. We went to see the Book of Mormon in London and I cannot say enough how AMAZING it was!!! I have seen many west end shows but The Book of Mormon is definitely the best one ever! Some people think why see a show about religion, it sounds so boring. But it's completely the opposite. It's written by people who did South Park therefore The Book of Mormon is actually very rude and most of the characters take the mickey out of religious people. On average 3 people walk out of every show because they find it so offensive! I believe in god but I still wanted to see the show and even I thought it was good! Although if you are highly religious, NEVER see the show unless you want to her all swear words under the sun, graphic scenes and sac religious things!

OSCAR!!!! Let me just start of by saying that I am in love, with the best male there is-my puppy.

MY PUPPY-OSCAR!!!' HES SO FLUFFY! My mum is allergic to dogs therefore unfortunately we could never have one but when she went to visit this breed of dogs- a schnoodle, she realized that she isn't allergic to this breed. She got him straight away and I came home to the most gorgeous puppy ever. Within the first two months of having him he was so tiny . I thought he would be so shy after being parted form his brothers but he was the most loveable puppy ever, always wanting a kiss and a cuddle! He still is like that. I can't walk him downtown without him jumping on a stranger’s foot trying to give it kisses- he's such a player. Plus I get to dress him up in cute outfits- he actually loves it. Such a. Camp puppy!

ICEBAR!

Something else on my bucket list was going to an Icebar. I thought that they only had these in foreign countries aside from the UK so when I found out one was in London I bookend it straight away with my friends Becca, Jess and Flo. IT WAS SO MUCH FUN! Just into a side road form the street we found coming off Regent Street. The bar where you wait was so pretty. After nearly taking over the cloakroom with our shopping bags( mostly Primark) we had the cloaks thrown over us in preparation for the -7 degrees Icebar. Surprisingly I couldn’t feel the cold and the Music, lights and everything was fab! I'm a bit if an art geek as was paying some attention to the way the bar was made, how the ice cubes were structured. All of it was AMAIZNG! Definitely worth a night out if you want to go!

VENICE

Venice has always been one if then pIaces that I have always fancied going to. So when I got offered the trip to go with my new college friends I grabbed the chance. Although I had just met these girls I can honestly say that every single one go them are fab. I love then so much. They are always so cheery and always up for doing something never sitting just doing nails or something like that! Not that there’s anything wrong with that I would just rather explore things. I fell in love with Venice. I can honestly say how it so one of the most beautiful place that I have ever been to. From St Marks Square , to the Bell tower and to Rialto bride everything is gorgeous! Seeing people casually walk on tables because the it sometimes flood was so surreal- also so MUCH fun! EVERYONE HAS TO EXPERINECE VENICE! Oh and it's true about the pizzas , Ice creams and pastas- they're just – (speechless)

Overall I've had a fab year and I hope you all have to. I have no idea how but here's to even a better year this year!

Friday 3 January 2014

After much thought and my friends persuading me, I came to the conclusion that I should start my own blog. New year, new start, new things and blah blah, blah. First of all I would like to say thank you for reading this far and deciding to take an interest into what I would be writing about! Secondly I would like to introduce myself. My name is Rebecca Elisha miller, Rebecca for short, but mostly Becca. I love my friends, family and just life in general! I am 18 years old but soon to be 19 (eek!). I am currently studying a foundation diploma in art and design and currently debating whether to got university or do an apprenticeship next year in the photography field. In the meantime you'll find me hanging out with the girls, playing with my puppy or chatting to everyone at whetherspoons- I pretty much live there! The big plans in life are to achieve my dreams. My main dream is to travel around the world with my camera, especially America. I know that's nearly everyone's dream but it's what I live and save for! I'm not really sure what my blog posts are going to be about! Probably just random events in my life, art updates or jokes that I will probably be the only one that finds them funny! (that happens a LOT! )So that's it, all I can say so far is Happy New Year and speak to you all soon.
